GGWCUP Ball

The first football designed to fit the physicality of female players reducing injuries and maximizing the game experience. 

In 2015 we teamed up with UNDP and created the official design promoting the 17 UN Global Goals. 

LIGHTER. FASTER. SAFER.

The official ball designed specifically for female football players. A slightly smaller, lighter alternative to the standard size 5 ball, built to reduce injury risk without taking anything away from the game.

Materials

• 100% PU Japanese Duksung Cordley leather (1.8mm)
• Multi-layer construction: non-woven backing, 2mm EVA cushioning, 3-ply PV fabric lining
• Latex seamless double butyl valve bladder
• Hand-stitched with premium 5-ply imported thread
• LED-free and AZO-free glossy ink finish

Performance

• 13% longer passes
• 6% faster ball speed
• 17% reduction in head acceleration, below concussion threshold
• 40% lower biomechanical strain on knees and body

Player testing

• 86% of players responded positively
• 66% said gameplay felt more enjoyable
